I presented at the WITS radio days conference about web/new media and radio. The fundamental question for me is that radio is so intertwined with the medium (i.e. audio broadcast) that its hard to have somebody really tell me what it provides the audience (as it definately does provide something).
its a scary thought, if i can get better traffic, weather and news from my phone in future – why would i tune in to the radio? companion media – possibly. entertainment that is current – probably. is a great radio show in fact like the tonight show?
