much ado about no privacy

the mozilla guys are a bit touchy, eric schmidt’s comments regarding privacy law changes arent putting anybody at risk – he is saying something quiet logical – there are laws and search engines (like phone companies and ISPs) do need to provide data to law enforcement if asked.

subscriber information overall is a touchy subject, on one side – its where the future trillions of advertising/recommendation revenues will come from and on the other side when does it go from being useful to being controlling.

also, at what point does innocent behavior get built up through circumstantial evidence collected via online searches? and how do you even know it was me searching. look i didnt do it, OK!
