The research team found that when music samples were provided, up to 14% more shoppers clicked the “buy” button… resulting in a 100% increase in profitability! What’s more, samples had twice as much impact on conversion as online reviews, and also mitigated the effect of negative reviews. By hearing the tracks for themselves, consumers can overcome uncertainty and make their own decisions.
